Last week was one of those busy weeks where we had to be somewhere every night of the week. Some people enjoy being busy like that, but I am not one of those people. This week, I was happy to have a bit of down time to get some things done around the house, in the kitchen, and here on the blog. In addition to my usual posts and doing my best to keep up with my RSS reader (which is easier said than done), I’ve also been starting to work on some updates for the blog, including some new pages like a blogroll and FAQ page. I’m hoping to have the changes done in the next week (maybe even this weekend!).
So, I’d love to know… Is there anything else you’d like to see here on My Kitchen Addiction? I’m open to your suggestions, so please leave any thoughts and ideas you may have in the comments!
Alright… While I’m busy working on a few site improvements, be sure to go check out these great posts that I discovered this week!
- Now that colder weather is upon us, I am in the mood for cozy, comforting meals. Nothing sounds more comforting than a slice or two of this Steak and Onion Pizza with Cheddar Cheese and Garlic Cream Sauce from The Cooking Photographer. Doesn’t that look divine?
- Call me crazy, but I’m already thinking about what homemade goodies I am going to make for Christmas gifts this year. These Beer and Pretzel Soft Caramel Candies from Brown Eyed Baker look like the perfect addition to my list.
- I admit I’m not always thrilled when we receive cabbage from our CSA. This Slaw with Warm Bacon Dressing from Vino Luci has me wishing and hoping for lots of cabbage, though. It’s perfect for fall potlucks!
- Pound cake is one of my favorites – one of my baking staples. Though I love a traditional pound cake, I’m always open for new ideas. I will definitely be giving this Graham Cracker Pound Cake from Dana Treat a try very soon. I have a feeling it will be one of my new favorites!
- I’m always happy to try out new pizza recipes… Even though my first pick was a pizza recipe, I had to include this one, too… I love variety! I think this French Dip Pizza from The Other Side of Fifty is a brililant idea. Plus, much like Mags, I can definitely relate to not wanting to make a dish that I’ve already blogged about!
Thanks for including my French Dip pizza in your roundup Jen!
That French dip pizza looks amazing! Thanks for another great blog to follow. :-)
Great round up! Thank you for including my caramels!
So funny – I was catching up on my reader over the weekend and most of those posts got bookmarked for making soon!! Great minds…
