My Friday Favorites are back!
I hope you’re as excited as I am… I really enjoy reading through everyone’s food blogs each week. I am always amazed by the creativity and brilliance of all of the other bloggers out there. And, when I see great food, I get excited and just have to share… I’m sure you can relate!
Without further ado, here are my freshly picked Friday Favorites!
- I really need to make this Pan Seared Polenta with Chicken and Tomato Sauce from Evil Shenanigans! I’m embarrassed to admit that I have never made polenta before (*gasp*), but have been meaning to give it a try. This looks like a perfect first recipe to me!
- I have decided that is perfectly acceptable to make gingerbread in January. I simply cannot wait until next Christmas to make these Gingerbread Truffles from Sugarcrafter! I will have to find a good reason to make these and give most of them away so I am not tempted to eat them all myself. It’s all about moderation!
- Clam chowder is one of my favorite soups. I used to eat it a lot as a kid. Strangely enough, it was one of my favorites when I wasn’t feeling well. Imagine my delight when I saw this Healthy(er) Clam Chowder from Apples and Butter. I’m thinking it will be a nice treat on a cold, snowy day!
- While we’re talking about healthy dishes, be sure to check out these Healthy Hot and Crunchy Chicken Cones with Mango Jalapeno Slaw from Spork or Foon. I love that the chicken is baked instead of fried… and the slaw sounds ahhh-mazing!
Aww, thanks for including me this week! You do need to try polenta, and the quick cooking kind I used makes it a snap! I hope you give it a try, and you like it too!!
Good to see your Friday favorites back!
(I’ve never had polenta either)
Thanks for sharing these great finds with us :)
Great recipe finds! Have a great weekend!
Wow…the Clam Choweder with apples sounds so good, I just might try it next week!
Thank you so much for the mention!! I hope you enjoy the truffles…I know I had to sneak a few while I was making them. ;-)
