As you probably already know, I’ve been participating in the 12 Days of Sharing to benefit Share Our Strength and the fight against childhood hunger in America. So, I thought it would only be appropriate to pick some of my favorite holiday treats for this week’s Friday Favorites!
- I have been thinking about making homemade marshmallows for a few days now. So, imagine my delight when I saw these pretty Chocolate-Dipped Marshmallows from goodLife {eats}! Aren’t they gorgeous? Yup, I thought so.
- One of my favorite homemade treats to make for Christmas gifts is fudge. This year I plan on making some of this Cookies n’ Cream Fudge from Elizabeth’s Edible. I think it looks pretty fantastic.
- If you’re looking for a healthier option for the holidays, take a look at these Whole Grain Oatmeal Peanut Butter Christmas Cookies from The Other Side of Fifty. You don’t have to tell your friends and family that they’re whole grain. No one will know.
- Have I mentioned how much I love peppermint? It’s one of my favorite holiday flavors. I can’t get enough of the peppermint mochas at Starbucks (especially in the red cup)! Well, if you like peppermint, you’ll have to check out this Peppermint Bark from Spork or Foon. Just be sure to heed the warnings about white chocolate!
In addition to these wonderful holiday treats, be sure to check out the Virtual Cookie Jar for the 12 Days of Sharing. It’s chock full of cookies and other baked goods that have been submitted by some really great bloggers! Plus, there’s still time to get involved… Find out all of the details over at In Jennie’s Kitchen!
Fantastic Friday Favorites…as always :) The chocolate dipped marshmallows sound lovely. I’m off to check it out :)
